Free yourself from the rusted concept of "masculinity."

We want to bring awareness to binary thinking and patriarchy that produced it, and to free ourselves from this rusty, fixed image and pressure of "masculinity." Masculinity is not only for those with penises.

This issue explores a new masculinity in an evolving age and society. It includes interviews with Kai Nishii, known for his book "Pity for Men: the Agonies and Contradictions of Unpopular Boys", and Kabuki actor Chinnosuke Kataoka, who has taken on both the tachiyaku (male) and onnagata (female) roles in kabuki, as well as the photo series "A moment of discomfort - Men" about an office worker who loses consciousness after drinking too much of the patriarchy.

The magazine's first bilingual edition in English and Japanese.
