I’m the edge case we didn’t design for.
I live in Tokyo, where Facebook Marketplace can’t be used. I am back in Texas to clear out my storage unit.
Marketplace allowed me to post some furniture because I am physically in TX, and then, right after…

So people can see my marketplace post and they can message me, but I can not take the post down.
The furniture sold, but I am stuck in a never ending hell of people I don’t know messaging me:
“is it available plz respond”

Changing my location does not help. Nor does changing the region on my device or using a VPN.
All my “most recent chats” in Messenger are pictures of furniture. I have no more human friends.
@facebookapp for the love of God release me from this purgatory.
